Frequently asked questions
Can you make a part when I have no drawing or CAD file?
Yes. Bring the original part, even a broken one. We measure it, rebuild it as a 3D model, and make a sample for you to check against the real assembly before the run.
How many parts can you make?
Anything from a single replacement to a full production run. We choose the process by quantity, so a few parts are 3D printed or machined, a few hundred can be vacuum cast from one master, and injection moulding takes over from about 500 identical units.
Which processes and materials do you use for production parts?
FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF and metal 3D printing, CNC machining, vacuum casting and injection moulding, in materials such as ASA, nylon, clear resin, POM and aluminium. One team handles every part, whichever process it needs, and checks it before delivery.
Do I get to approve a sample before the full run?
Yes. We can make a first sample for you to fit and approve, so any change is made before the whole batch is produced.
How much does a production run cost?
It depends on the part, the process and the quantity, and a larger run costs less per piece. Our pricing guide has the current rates, and you can price print-ready 3D files instantly with our instant quote tool.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. We keep your parts and files private and can sign a non-disclosure agreement before you send drawings or samples.
