What we brought
What we can do
We copy a part from the one you have
We modelled the latch from the existing one, so the copies keep its handle, catch and screw holes.
How we look after you
A small batch is worth making
Four latches is a normal order for us, with no tooling to pay for and no minimum run.
What you get
Every latch is checked by hand
We worked each latch by hand before it left the studio, so all four move the same way.

The brief
Step 1 of 5
- Starting point
- An existing window latch
- Material
- SS304 stainless steel
- Quantity
- Four
At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we recreate parts that can no longer be bought. Le Designer Interior needed four window latches made to match an existing latch, in SS304 stainless steel.
Measuring and modelling
Step 2 of 5
We measured the existing latch and rebuilt it in CAD: the long hooked handle, the catch with its curved lip and the screw that joins them at the pivot.
Production
Step 3 of 5
We made all four latches in SS304 stainless steel from the same model, so every handle, catch and screw hole matches across the batch.
Fitting and checks
Step 4 of 5
We fitted each catch to its handle with a small screw at the pivot, then worked every latch by hand to check that it moves freely and seats properly.
The final build
Step 5 of 5
Le Designer Interior received four matching stainless steel latches, each one checked by hand, ready to fit to the windows.
