How we make it
- 01
Vector file prep
DXF, AI, SVG, or PDF with clear cut/engrave layers. Strokes set to 0.001mm, text outlined. We flag anything that won't cut clean.
- 02
Material selection
Acrylic, plywood, MDF, paper, leather, or coated stock. We match thickness and colour to the application — 3 mm to 12 mm.
- 03
Laser cutting
CO₂ laser cuts and engraves to ±0.1 mm. Tight kerf, no scorch on the visible face thanks to masking film and air-assist.
- 04
Pack & deliver
Pieces masked or interleaved to prevent edge-to-edge scratching. Same-day pickup from Bendemeer for local jobs.
Laser cutting handles the jobs that 3D printing can’t — flat sheet stock, large surface areas, intricate paper artwork, fine engraving on acrylic. We use it constantly alongside printing for signage, scale-model substrates, and packaging.
Materials we cut routinely
- Acrylic — clear, frosted, and full Pantone range from 3mm to 10mm. Flame-polished edges available for premium finish.
- Plywood and MDF — 3mm to 12mm. Good for model bases, fixtures, and packaging inserts.
- Paper, cardstock, leather — for invitations, tags, packaging, and templates.
Common use cases
- Signage — retail signs, exhibition booth graphics, wayfinding letters.
- Scale model bases and substrates — flat sheet under-structures for architectural and product models.
- Prototyping fixtures — quick test jigs and assembly aids.
- Packaging inserts — die-cut foam alternatives for product presentation.
