Which Bambu Lab 3D printer should you buy?

If you’re printing your first models, toys or brackets at home, start with the A1 mini. It’s the most compact machine we sell, quiet enough for a bedroom desk at under 48 dB in Silent Mode, and it calibrates itself so there’s no bed levelling to get wrong. Add an AMS lite later for up to 4-colour printing.

Want a bigger plate without paying for an enclosure? The A1 is the full-size version of the same idea: an open frame with a 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume, full-auto calibration and a 1-click quick-swap nozzle. It’s the easiest machine on this page to understand, because nothing sits behind glass.

Printing large props, cosplay parts or planters that won’t fit an A1? The A2L has the biggest bed here with no enclosure, at 330 × 320 × 325 mm, and its toolhead can swap for a cutting or drawing module. Like the A1 and A1 mini, its 80°C bed keeps it to PLA, PETG and TPU; it isn’t built for ABS or nylon.

Need to print ABS, ASA or other high-temperature filament reliably? Step up to an enclosed CoreXY machine. The P1S is the cheapest reliable route into high-temperature printing we sell, setting up in about 15 minutes and handling up to 16-colour prints with an AMS. The P2S goes further: it ships with a hardened nozzle and extruder gears from the factory, so carbon-fibre and metal PLAs print from day one.

For genuine dual-nozzle work at the value end, the X2D feeds its second extruder through a tube rather than riding it on the toolhead, and its 120°C bed brings PC and nylon into scope.

The H2 series covers the biggest and most demanding jobs. The H2S has the largest single-nozzle build volume we carry, at 340 × 320 × 340 mm, for oversized parts. The H2D is our flagship: true dual-nozzle printing with an actively heated chamber, and an optional laser and cutting module turns it into an engraver too. The H2C is built for production runs, swapping between up to 7 hotends mid-print so multi-material jobs finish with minimal purge waste.

Which Bambu Lab printer is best for a beginner in Singapore?

The A1 mini or A1. Both calibrate themselves, need no bed levelling and run quietly enough for a home desk.

Do I need an enclosed printer?

Only if you’re printing ABS, ASA or other high-temperature filament. PLA, PETG and TPU print fine on an open-frame A1, A1 mini or A2L.

Can I add multi-colour printing later?

Yes. Every model on this page takes an AMS or AMS lite for multi-colour and multi-material printing, and it doesn’t have to be bought with the printer.
