What we brought

  1. What we can do

A different name on every block

We engraved each recipient's name in script below Pioneer Award Recipient, one name to a block.

  2. How we look after you

A sample first, then the batch

We engraved one sample block for Boeing to approve before any of the names went on.

  3. What you get

    Your own awards, engraved

Boeing supplied the crystal blocks, and each came back engraved for its Pioneer Award recipient.

The brief

Step 1 of 5

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we engraved crystal award blocks for Boeing. Boeing supplied the blocks for Boeing Singapore Training Campus's Pioneer Awards, marking 20 years since 2006, and each needed one recipient's name.

The engraving layout

Step 2 of 5

We worked from Boeing's engraving layout: the campus's 20 Years artwork, Pioneer Award Recipient, then each name in script, 35 by 5 mm, centred 5 mm above the base of the block.

DrawingThe layout, with the name size marked.

The sample

Step 3 of 5

Boeing approved the scope for one sample block on 20/07/2026, and we laser-engraved it to the layout before any other names went on.

Engraving the names

Step 4 of 5

With the sample approved, we engraved the remaining blocks, each with one recipient's name in script.

Lorraine Ang's name in script.

The final build

Step 5 of 5

Each clear block carries the campus's 20 Years artwork, Pioneer Award Recipient and one name in script.
