What spray paint colors does Additive Inn stock?
We carry 30+ stock colors covering primaries, metallics (chrome, gold, copper, brass), neons, and matte finishes. For exact Pantone matching, we mix custom colors using a 2-part automotive paint system. Send your Pantone code at quote time and we'll confirm whether it's stock or needs a custom mix.
How long does spray paint take to dry on 3D prints?
Touch-dry in 15–30 minutes. Recoat after 1 hour. Fully cured (handleable without damaging the finish) in 24 hours. Two-pack automotive paint cures harder than spray-can paint and is the right choice for parts that will be handled often. Add 1–2 days to the lead time for painted finish work.
Will spray paint stick to PLA, resin, or PETG?
Yes to all, with primer. PLA and ABS take primer easily. SLA resin needs a thorough wash (IPA + post-cure) before priming or paint will fish-eye. PETG is the trickiest — needs a flexible primer or it'll crack. We use a tinted automotive primer that adheres to all standard 3D printing materials.
