Shure 100 Years Mic Figurines

For Shure’s 100th anniversary, we produced a run of mascot figurines celebrating two of the most recognisable microphones ever made. The green character wears the SM58 as its head, singing into its own mic on a stand; the purple rocker is built around the vintage Super 55, each standing on a “Shure 100 Years” base. The whole job ran end to end in-house: printing, painting, custom packaging and shipping.

Two mics, two characters

The designs turn Shure’s icons into personalities. The SM58 mascot gets a bucket hat, round shades and a teal shirt; the Super 55 rocker gets a purple bandana, cat-eye glasses and a “100” jersey. Both were printed in an industrial-grade resin chosen for its strength, because a gift like this gets handled, not just displayed. The grille texture on each mic head, the tiny SM58 lettering and the logotype bases all carry through crisply across the run.

End to end, production to shipping

This was a full production job, not a one-off. Every figure was printed, painted and assembled in the studio, checked unit by unit, then seated into custom presentation boxes we designed and made ourselves. From the first prototype in raw grey resin to sealed boxes ready to ship, the entire run was delivered as a finished, gift-ready product.
