What we brought
Deck detail
We build warships with the deck detail still crisp
The bow gun, mast, radar domes, funnel fittings, flight deck markings and stern ramp are each sharp up close.
Matching models
Order more than one and every model matches
Same grey, same red, same nameplate and hull number, so the two stand side by side as a pair.
Smooth finish
Your ship looks finished, not printed
Filled, sanded and primed before paint, so the long grey sides read smooth from bow to stern.

The brief
Step 1 of 4
At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we 3D printed two matching scale models of the frigate VICTORY, 88 on the bow. The client wanted the right hull shape, weapons and deck structures in place, and a display finish.
Fabrication
Step 2 of 4
We printed the hull, with the weapons and small deck structures as separate parts for sharper detail. Each hull was then filled, sanded and primed to remove most of the layer lines.
Build and assembly
Step 3 of 4
We fitted the weapons, mast and deck structures to their mounting points, painted each primed hull grey above and red below the waterline, added the white VICTORY nameplate and 88 on the bow, and set both models on black stands.
The final build
Step 4 of 4
The pair, finished and set on their black stands, ready for display.
The details
The likeness lives in the small parts on deck.
Another frigate, hull 68
A separate job: a single frigate with 68 on the bow, printed, primed and painted plain grey, with the flight deck markings picked out in white.
