What we brought
What we can do
One look across three orders
The repeat orders follow the first set's sizes and lettering, and the hairline runs the same way on every plate.
How we look after you
Text sized to read as a set
On the small plates the four names were set at one text height, so PRODUCER reads the same as ENDURA, CENTRIS and VISTARA.
What you get
A new plate when the client needed one
When the client wanted the equipment name and the company on one plate, we drew a two-line 90 by 35 mm plate and made 17.

The brief
Step 1 of 5 · 12/08/2026
- First order
- 6 sets, 30 plates
- Small plates
- 50 x 20 mm, one equipment name each
- Company plate
- 155 x 30 mm, APPLIED MATERIALS SOUTH EAST ASIA and 35TH ANNIVERSARY
- Lettering
- Bold sans serif, centred
At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made brushed silver nameplates for Applied Materials South East Asia. The first order was six sets for the company's 35th anniversary: in each set, four small plates with the names ENDURA, PRODUCER, CENTRIS and VISTARA, and one long plate with the company name.
The proof and the text height
Step 2 of 5 · 13/08/2026
We laid out all five plates on a proof for the client to check. On the first revision every line went bold and 35TH ANNIVERSARY came up to the same size as the company name.
On the small plates the client's team wanted the four names to read as one set, so we set the text at one height across all four, 5 mm, and kept the plate at 50 by 20 mm.

Production
Step 3 of 5 · 18/08/2026
Each name was lettered in dark grey on a brushed silver plate with a fine hairline finish, then the plates were laid out by name to check every one before delivery.
Two more orders
Step 4 of 5 · 15/10/2026
In October the client came back for more. The repeat order was 71 plates at the first set's sizes: 14 company plates, this time without the anniversary line, and 57 small plates across the four names. We matched the first set's lettering, and the hairline runs along the plate as it did before.
A second order added a new plate: the equipment name on top and APPLIED MATERIALS SOUTH EAST ASIA below it, on a 90 by 35 mm silver matte plate. We drew the layout with the two lines set apart, the client approved it the same afternoon, and we made 17: six ENDURA, six CENTRIS and five PRODUCER.
The final build
Step 5 of 5 · 19/10/2026
All 88 plates of the two October orders were delivered to Applied Materials together on 19/10/2026: company plates, the small plates for the four names, and the new two-line plates.
