At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we 3D print signs as well as cut them. This page brings together three: thick white letters for a wall sign, a Paper Rex logo stand made as a fan piece, and a unit number for a private client.

Wall sign letters

We nested a set of thick white block capitals, with apostrophes, tightly on one large FDM print bed, row by row, and printed them together in one job. Off the bed, each letter came away as its own piece, ready to be spaced out and fixed on the wall in the right order: thick white capitals with crisp edges.

Colours
White lettering on a black body

We made a Paper Rex logo stand as a fan piece, not for a client. It needed the esports team's brush-script name to read clearly and stand on a shelf unaided.

The stand was 3D printed by FDM: the lettering's face in white, the deep body and base beneath it in black. The white face sits on the black body, offset so the black shows around each letter like a drop shadow, with the base running underneath. The finished stand reads Paper REX in white brush script, standing on its own black base.

A private client needed their unit number as solid 3D digits, modelled from their own references. The order came in on 27/03/2026. We turned their drawings and photos into a 3D model, checked for printing with two small changes included, then printed the digits in titanium grey carbon-fibre PETG on our FDM printers, at 0.28 mm layers.

The two printed pieces were checked and packed, and the client collected them from our studio on 02/04/2026: thick, matt grey digits that stand on their own, ready to put up.
