What we brought
What we can do
A heart that turns inside its frame
We modelled the Partners Award from PTC's drawing: the heart turns on a 3 mm rod between two hands.
How we look after you
Built from your own files
We printed PTC's own heart designs from its files and painted them to match its photos and colours.
What you get
Back for a second year
PTC came back in 2025; the second batch was ready in October, ahead of its mid-November ceremony.

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made the Caring SG Commuters awards for the Public Transport Council (PTC) in 2024 and 2025. PTC supplied its heart trophies as 3D files and needed a Partners Award designed around a heart that turns.
Design and prototyping
Step 2 of 5 · 16/09/2024
We modelled the Partners Award from PTC's 2D drawing: two hands make a heart-shaped frame, and the Caring SG Commuters heart sits between them on a 3 mm rod and a bushing, free to turn. The first design went to PTC on 16/09/2024.

Revision 1 · 09/10/2024
As PTC asked, the smile turned blue. We added a base, 180 mm by 100 mm, and PTC approved it.

Production
Step 3 of 5 · 07/10/2024
By 07/10/2024, all fourteen hearts, printed from PTC's own files, were waiting for paint; two were collected first as samples. Each Partners heart was printed as separate parts: two hollow halves, the smiling face and the frame.
Build and assembly
Step 4 of 5
We primed and painted the hearts in PTC's green and blue with white faces, plus the band and star on the Richard Magnus Award. The Partners heart went onto its rod to turn freely, and each award was mounted with its name plate.
The final build
Step 5 of 5 · 06/11/2024
The 2024 batch went to PTC on 06/11/2024 on black bases with gold name plates, for its ceremony that weekend. In 2025 PTC ordered a second batch on clear acrylic bases, ready by mid-October for its mid-November ceremony.
