How do I get something 3D printed in Singapore for the first time?

To get something 3D printed in Singapore, you upload a 3D file or a photo to our instant quote, approve the price and pay, and our 3D printing service prints it and delivers it or keeps it for you to collect. You don’t need a printer, a finished design or any experience, and a plain part in filament (fused deposition modeling, FDM) or resin (stereolithography, SLA) is usually ready in 4 to 7 working days.

Step 1: Get a 3D file, or have one made
A 3D printer needs a 3D file: a digital model of the part. You can upload STL, STEP (STP), OBJ, 3MF or IGES, a ZIP of several files, or a JPG or PNG photo, up to 1 GB, and several at once. STEP is best when exact sizes matter.
No file is not a problem:

- Get it designed. Describe the part or drop in a photo, and our AI designs it for you.
- Have it drawn exactly. For a part that has to fit something, our design team draws it from a sketch, a drawing or the old part itself.
Step 2: Upload it and choose how it is made
Drop the file into the instant quote. The 3D preview shows the part’s size, and you can scale it up or down by a percentage. Then choose, for each part, the print method, material, colour and quantity.
For a first print, three tips:
- Not sure which process? Filament printing in PLA (a plant-based plastic) suits most models and prototypes. Pick resin for fine detail, nylon powder for tough working parts, and metal only when the part has to be metal. Our process guide compares all five.
- Leave the print settings alone. Layer height, infill (how solid the inside is) and walls, under advanced settings, already have sensible defaults.
- Want it finished? Post-processing (the work done after printing), including paint in a single colour and a clear coat, is under advanced settings too, and our painting and finishing page shows what is possible.

Step 3: Check the price and pay
The price appears in seconds, with no email needed, and you can save the quote for 7 days. It depends on the process, the material, the machine time and any finishing: our cost guide explains each part, and larger runs cost less per part.
Checkout runs in four short steps:
- Review your parts.
- Speed: Standard, Express or Super Rush, which sets how soon it is ready (see Step 4).
- Delivery: self-collection, delivery in 2 to 3 days, or an express courier.
- Pay by card or PayNow.
After you pay, our team reviews every file. If the part is not printable as uploaded, or needs an adjustment, we contact you before printing. For a job that mixes several processes or a special finish, talk to us instead: we reply with a quote within 24 hours, usually the same business day. Moulds and crystal are quoted by the team too, and acrylic signs get an instant price in our sign studio.
Step 4: We print, finish and check it
You can follow the order online as it moves through Order placed, Confirming, Printing, Finishing and checks, then Ready or shipped. Each order has a remarks chat for questions both ways.
A normal-size FDM or SLA part (up to about 10 to 15 cm across) takes 4 to 7 working days on Standard, 3 to 5 on Express and 1 to 3 on Super Rush. Painted or plated parts take 12 to 18 working days for 1 to 3 parts, and longer for a batch, so ask us. These times are a rough gauge for simple designs: the real date depends on our production queue, but they are what we usually meet. How long does a 3D printing order take?
A normal-size filament (FDM) or resin (SLA) part takes 4 to 7 working days on Standard, 3 to 5 on Express and 1 to 3 on Super Rush. Nylon powder takes 8 to 12 working days by selective laser sintering (SLS) and 12 to 15 by Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), and metal 10 to 12. Painted or plated parts take 12 to 18 working days for 1 to 3 parts. A batch of 15 or more takes at least 15 working days painted or 18 plated, often longer, so ask us. All these times are a rough guide for simple designs, and large parts take longer, so check with us.
How big can you 3D print in one piece?
Filament printing goes up to 1000 x 1000 x 1200 mm in one piece. Resin, nylon powder and metal have smaller limits, and anything bigger than one machine is printed in sections and joined, which is how large models and props are made.
