What we brought
What we can do
Fit checked on your device
We seated the controller in the raw print and flagged the tight spots before any paint went on.
How we look after you
A colour agreed with you
We sprayed a test sample and agreed a more vibrant colour with Bong Design.
What you get
A finish given time to cure
We held collection until the clear coat had cured, so the finish would not mark.

The brief
Step 1 of 4 · 29/06/2026
- The part
- A mount that holds the controller in a vehicle's centre console
- Material
- ABS
- Finish
- Paint and a clear coat
At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we print and finish parts from our clients' own files. Bong Design needed a centre console mount for a car audio controller, 3D printed in ABS, then painted and clear coated.
Printing and the fit check
Step 2 of 4 · 01/07/2026
We 3D printed the mount in ABS from Bong Design's model and seated the controller in it. It pushed home but sat tight at two entry points, with a gap along one side, so we told Bong Design before painting.
Paint and clear coat
Step 3 of 4 · 01/07/2026
We sprayed a colour sample and agreed a more vibrant colour than first requested. The mount took a first coat in the spray booth, then the colour, then a protective clear coat left to cure.
The final build
Step 4 of 4 · 03/07/2026
Bong Design collected the mount on 03/07/2026, once the clear coat had cured. A few days later they told us it was all good.
