What we brought

  1. What we can do

We test on your material first

Eleven settings on a spare board let the restaurant choose the depth from real wood, not a screen.

  2. How we look after you

We tell you what will last

We flagged that a red colour fill would wash out, as the printed logos on their old boards had.

  3. What you get

A mark that survives the kitchen

A month after delivery, the restaurant told us the engraving was holding up through heavy washing.

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we laser-engraved 90 wooden serving boards for OUE's Osteria Mozza at ION Orchard. The printed logos on their old boards had worn off with washing, and these boards came from overseas with no spares.

The artwork and the settings

Step 2 of 5 · 20/07/2026

We engraved the restaurant's own logo artwork. Before any board in the batch, we tested how deep the laser should burn on a spare board, so the team chose from real samples.

The sample

Step 3 of 5 · 24/07/2026

We engraved the chosen setting on one more spare board, in its final place. The restaurant checked it with the brand's team in Los Angeles and approved it on 31/07/2026.
