What we brought
What we can do
Two parts, two colours
The black base and the red top print separately, so each part takes its own colour.
How we look after you
Your mark on an everyday piece
Our logo sits in the middle of the lattice. We have also printed sets carrying a name.
What you get
Made to be used

The brief
Step 1 of 4
- Parts
- A base and a top
- Colours
- Black base, red top
- Mark
- The Additive Inn logo
At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made our own coasters: an everyday piece that carries our logo, built in two parts so each colour prints on its own.
Production
Step 2 of 4
We printed the two parts separately on our FDM printers: a black base with a raised rim and a speckled, textured floor, and a red top in an open lattice around the logo, in two patterns.
Build and assembly
Step 3 of 4
The red top presses into the black base, and the raised rim holds it in place.
The final build
Step 4 of 4
A set of two-colour coasters with our logo, in use on desks and tables under mugs and cups.
