What we brought

  1. What we can do

Text sized to read as one set

We set the codes 18.8 mm tall across all 83 labels. Only six of the longer codes are a little smaller, so they still fit the 250 mm plate.

  2. How we look after you

A second order to match the plates on site

The client sent photos of the nameplates already in place. We made six new ones at the same 90 by 40 mm, white on black, with tape on the back.

  3. What you get

    Ready ahead of the plan

The 83 labels were ready for collection on 28/08/2026, three days before the date in the scope.

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made 83 silver labels for Goldwind Services. The client sent the codes in a spreadsheet, one code to a label, and a size example of 250 by 35 mm. A month later they came back for six black nameplates, with a second list and photos of the plates already in place.

The proof and the text height

Step 2 of 5 · 25/08/2026

Every label carries different text, so the client checked each line on our proof before anything was printed. The second revision made the text larger across the whole set.

  1. Revision 0 · 25/08/2026

Black text on a silver plate, 250 by 35 mm with 1 mm corners. The text stood about 16.5 mm tall, from 150 mm wide on the shortest code to 231 mm on the longest.

  2. Revision 1 · 26/08/2026

New heights: the text grew to 18.8 mm across the set. Four LAN codes sit at 18.4 mm and the two RECEP01 codes at 17 mm, so every code fits the plate.

Printing the labels

Step 3 of 5 · 28/08/2026

We UV printed the 83 codes in black onto brushed silver metal-alloy plates, 250 by 35 mm each, then laid the set out to photograph it on 28/08/2026. For the second order we made the six nameplates in white on black at 90 by 40 mm, with the text from the client's second list.

Backing and packing

Step 4 of 5 · 28/08/2026

Each label is a single flat plate, so there was nothing to put together. We packed the 83 labels in a box marked with the order number and the client's name and left it in our self-collection area. The six nameplates got double-sided tape on the back in place of screw holes, as the client asked.

The final build

Step 5 of 5 · 22/10/2026

The 83 labels were ready on 28/08/2026, three days before the date in the scope, and Goldwind Services collected them on 01/09/2026. Their second order, six white-on-black nameplates, was ready at our self-collection area on 22/10/2026.
