What we brought

  1. What we can do

One design, a name on each

All three plaques share one layout. Only the recipient's name changes, so the set matches when they are presented together.

  2. How we look after you

    Two languages on one panel

The thank-you is printed in English and in Chinese, with the red Deutz logo below it.

  3. What you get

    Made in our own studio

We printed the panels, 3D printed the frames and assembled the plaques in our studio in Singapore.

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made three long service plaques for DEUTZ Asia-Pacific. The client chose Arc from our catalogue of trophy designs: a clear acrylic panel in a curved black frame, one plaque for each long-serving employee.

Design and prototyping

Step 2 of 5

Each panel carries the same layout: "Presented to" and the recipient's name at the top, then a thank-you for many years of dedicated service and lasting contributions to the organisation, a line of thanks for their commitment and professionalism in English and Chinese, and the red Deutz logo at the foot.

The deck showed the client all three plaques on one slide, with the frame's sizes: a 118 x 180 mm panel, 5 mm thick, in a frame 40 mm deep.

  1. Revision 0

All three plaques with their wording, and the Arc frame with its sizes.

Step 3 of 5

The wording was printed on each clear acrylic panel in black, with the logo in Deutz red. The curved frames were 3D printed in black on our FDM printers.

Build and assembly

Step 4 of 5

Each printed panel was seated in its frame, which holds it along one side and across the base, so the plaque stands on its own on a desk or a shelf.

Step 5 of 5

All three plaques were ready for the long service awards, each naming its recipient on clear acrylic in a black Arc frame.
