    Marbled Jesmonite, with a mountain in the word

    Letters and base cast in grey-white Jesmonite, every swirl different, with the M rising as two purple peaks.

    Shaped with you in 3D

    We sent a 3D mock-up, moved the peaks as WSG asked and added their logo and wording to the plate.

    One design, a plate for every winner

    Each award carries a brass plate engraved with the winning company's name and WSG's citation.

Use
Awards for employers who reskilled and retained workers

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made the EMERGE trophies for Workforce Singapore's Workforce Resilience Awards. WSG wanted the word EMERGE in grey-white Jesmonite, with the M as a mountain range in WSG purple, and a base naming each winning employer.

Concept

Step 2 of 6

We offered WSG two ideas: a mountain with a climber pushing a boulder to the top, and the word EMERGE with its M drawn as two peaks. WSG chose EMERGE, built as 3D letters.

Design and prototyping

Step 3 of 6

We sent a 3D mock-up. WSG asked for the lighter peak to stand on the base behind the darker one, slightly taller, then for their logo and the award wording on the plate. WSG approved the final mock-up on 31/10/2022.

Production

Step 4 of 6

We cast the letters and base of each trophy in grey-white Jesmonite, so no two marble patterns match, and made the two purple peaks that form the M.

Build and assembly

Step 5 of 6

Each brass plate was engraved with the WSG logo, the award title, the winning company's name and the citation, then set into a recess along the base, below the letters and peaks.

The trophies were ready for the Workforce Resilience Awards: marbled Jesmonite letters, a purple mountain for the M and a brass plate naming each winner.
