WSG Workforce Resilience Awards

Workforce Singapore’s Workforce Resilience Awards recognised employers who reskilled and retained their people through the COVID-19 years. WSG wanted an award that carried that message in its form, so we built the whole thing around a single word: EMERGE. The double-M rises from the base as a pair of purple peaks, a mountain to climb and clear, while the rest of the word sits in cool marbled stone.

How we made it

Each award brings together three different processes. The EMERGE letters and base were cast in Jesmonite, a stone-like marble composite whose natural grey-and-white swirl means no two pieces come out identical. The sculpted purple peaks were 3D-printed in resin for clean, sharp edges and set into the word. The name plate was UV-printed in rose gold with the WSG logo, the award title and each recipient’s citation, then cut to size and inlaid along the base.

Because the awards went out to a full cohort of employers, every plate was printed individually, turning one strong design into a personalised run while keeping the marble-and-mountain identity that ties the whole set together.
