Architectural Concept Model
This is a concept massing model of a colonnaded building set around a courtyard, printed to show the whole scheme at a glance: the long arcaded wings, the arched central entrance with its grand steps, and the curved ends that close off a triangular site.
How we made it
We modelled the building and its site from the design, then split it into sections sized for our printers. Every part was 3D-printed on FDM, from the repeating colonnade and arched windows down to the stepped entrance, and assembled onto the site base.
We left the whole model raw white on purpose. A single uniform colour is how a massing model is meant to be read: it strips away material and texture so the eye follows form, proportion and how the building sits on its plot. That is exactly what a concept model is for.
