What we brought
What we can do
We model the features that make a design green
The solar panel roof, green roof, gutter and box ventilator were all modelled in, not left as plain blocks.
How we look after you
You see it in 3D before we print
Front, back, exploded and close-up renders showed every part, with a link to view the 3D file.

The brief
Step 1 of 5
- Material
- White PLA, printed on FDM machines
At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made a tabletop model of a green bus stop for Pasir Ris Secondary School. It had to show the green features clearly: a solar panel roof, a green roof, a gutter and a ventilator.
Design & fitment
Step 2 of 5
We modelled the bus stop in 3D and shared front, back and close-up renders with a link to the 3D file. The ventilator hangs from the roof, the gutter runs along the back, and the base has holes for easy assembly.
Fabrication
Step 3 of 5
The shelter, base and bench were printed in white PLA. The solar panel texture was UV-printed onto the roof block, so it reads as a real panel.
Build & assembly
Step 4 of 5
The shelter fits into holes in the base and the bench sits in front of the back wall. The green roof and the solar panel block go on top.
The final build
Step 5 of 5
The finished model stands on its white base: panelled walls and a bench under a bright green roof, with the solar panel on top.
The details
Up close: the printed solar cells over the green roof edge, and the bench against the panelled back wall.
