SBS Transit Appreciation Trophy

A custom appreciation trophy for a departing SBS Transit director, built as a slice of Singapore’s transport network rather than a plaque. A road deck up top carries an SBS Transit bus past a bus stop, an MRT train runs on lit tracks through the tunnel below, and a personalised caricature figurine of the recipient stands beside an engraved plate of thanks.

How we made it

We built the diorama in layers: the lower tunnel and track bed, the LED-lit MRT platform, and the elevated road deck with its bus stop, trees and street markings. The figurine is the personal touch, a caricature of the recipient 3D-printed and hand-painted so the piece is unmistakably theirs.

Detail models of the SBS Transit bus and the MRT train sit in the scene, the platform lights up from within, and the whole trophy is finished under a clear acrylic case with an engraved appreciation plate.
