At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we 3D printed a Space Marine helmet from Warhammer 40,000 for a private client. The client brought their own file and needed the helmet at full size, big enough to wear.
Production
Step 2 of 4 · 20/09/2022
We printed the whole helmet in resin from the client's file, keeping the grille slots, the raised skull on the crest and the ribbed hoses at the sides.
Build and assembly
Step 3 of 4
We cleaned the supports off the resin print before the helmet went to the client.
The final build
Step 4 of 4 · 14/10/2022
Finished, the helmet wears blue with a red and white stripe over the crest, a gold skull, red eye lenses and silver hoses, and it fits over an adult head.
