Mini Me Monk Figurine
A serene chibi monk meditating on a lotus flower: one of the first pieces in our Mini Me figurine line, taken from digital sculpt to hand-painted keepsake entirely in-house. The brief called for soft, calm character styling with a themed base that reads as part of the piece, not an afterthought.
From White Resin to Warm Skin Tones
The figure and its lotus base were printed in fine-detail resin, then sanded and primed to a smooth, even white. Every colour on the finished piece is applied by hand at our painting bench: layered skin tones with soft blushing on the face and ears, a two-tone robe with clean edges at the collar and cuffs, and petal-by-petal shading across the lotus.
The closed-eye expression is the hardest part to get right. Eyebrows and lash lines are painted freehand under magnification, where a fraction of a millimetre decides whether the face reads as peaceful or asleep.
The Result: A Keepsake That Reads From Every Angle
Mounted on its lotus and finished with a clear acrylic display case, the monk holds up to close-up viewing from any direction. The same print-then-hand-paint pipeline now powers every Mini Me figurine: your photos become character artwork, the artwork becomes a 3D preview you approve, and our painters bring the printed piece to life.
