At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made a fan-made prop of the Wu Shuang knife from Valorant. It needed to read as the game's knife at a glance, feel right in the hand and stand on display.
Production
Step 2 of 4
The knife was 3D printed by FDM. Close up, the fine print lines still show on the guard and along the tan edge, under the paint.
Build and assembly
Step 3 of 4
The blade was painted gloss black with a tan edge, the grip grey with black bands, and the two characters 无双 lettered in white by hand.
The final build

The finished knife holds like the real thing and stands on a black display stand lettered with the game's logo in red.
