Crestron Camera Trophy

Crestron wanted an award that put their product front and centre, so we built one around the real thing. This piece mounts an actual Crestron PTZ camera as the trophy itself, presented as their “1 Beyond Top Sales Award.”

How we made it

We started by prepping the camera unit and fixing its pose so it holds a consistent, display-ready angle. The base was modelled and 3D-printed in PETG-CF, a stiff, matte carbon-fibre-filled material, with a recessed slot that the etched metal plate drops straight into.

The detail that brings it to life: we re-wired the camera’s LED strip to its own power source so it glows as if the unit is live and running, even sitting on a shelf. The finished trophy then sits under a clear acrylic case to keep it clean and protected.

The result is an award that doubles as a product showcase, instantly recognisable and a lot more memorable than an engraved block of glass.
