At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made seven custom trophies for S&P Dow Jones Indices. They asked for 3D printed awards carrying their company logo and five titles, from Deal of the Year to MVP, finished by 26/01/2026.

Concept

Step 2 of 6

After a short call we offered two custom directions: a sculptural premium trophy, and a clean, minimal column with a clear branding area. S&P Dow Jones Indices chose the clean column, which suits several award categories.

Design & prototyping

Step 3 of 6

We modelled a 248 mm angled column with a recess for a 58.9 by 58.8 mm black plate, then mocked up all seven with the logo and awards. Deal of the Year was left without a name, its winner to be decided on the day.

Production

Step 4 of 6

We 3D printed the seven angled columns, finished them in silver and printed the S&P Dow Jones Indices logo on each face.

Build & assembly

Step 5 of 6

Each column took a black plate with its award title and winner's name, then went into a black gift box with the logo on the lid and a base tray to stand in.

All seven trophies were finished, photographed and boxed on 29/01/2026, four days before the event.
