What we brought
What we can do
Rebuilt from the part in hand
We modelled the holder from Ruby Plus's clear original, taper, flange and notches included.
How we look after you
Checked against the original

The brief
Step 1 of 5 · 24/02/2026
- The part
- A tapered sleeve with a notched flange at the base
- Started from
- The client's clear original
At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we rebuild parts from the original. Ruby Plus had a clear, tapered ice holder and needed copies of it, so we started from their part.
Design and prototyping
Step 2 of 5 · 24/02/2026
We modelled the holder in CAD with design for manufacturing in mind: the taper, the rim and the flange with its four notches. Revision 0 sets it at 235 mm tall, with a 110 mm flange.
Production
Step 3 of 5 · 04/03/2026
We 3D printed a test holder in white PLA from the model. Once it was checked, the approved file printed four holders in white PLA.
Checking against the original
Step 4 of 5
The white print stood beside the clear original to compare the height, the taper and the notched flange.
The final build
Step 5 of 5 · 04/03/2026
Ruby Plus received four white PLA holders made from the approved file, each with the same taper and notched flange as their original.
