At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made nine award plaques for Google Cloud Security's JAPAC UNITE 2026 Awards. The client chose Arc from our catalogue of trophy designs: a clear acrylic panel in a curved black frame, with the client's own artwork printed on the panel and each plaque naming its award and winner.

Design and prototyping

Step 2 of 5

We set the client's artwork on the panel: Google Cloud Security at the top, the JAPAC UNITE 2026 Awards title, then the award and its winner, and the shield logo in the lower half. The deck showed the client the plaque with its sizes: a clear acrylic panel close to A5 in size (118 x 180 mm, 5 mm thick), in a frame 40 mm deep.

Step 3 of 5

Each panel was cut from clear acrylic and printed with its artwork in full colour, a different award and winner on each. The curved frames were 3D printed in black on our FDM printers.

Build and assembly

Step 4 of 5

Each printed panel was seated in its frame, which holds it along one side and across the base, so the plaque stands on its own.
