What kind of mural should your office wall get?
Most wall murals in Singapore fall into one of three camps: painted by hand, printed and mounted as large-format graphics, or built out in 3D relief with sculpted elements that come off the surface. Each suits a different space and budget, and on bigger jobs we often combine them. Our wall murals and themed environments service runs all three with one team, from site survey to sealed, handed-over wall, and a single feature wall typically takes 2 to 3 weeks from approved artwork.
Painted, printed or 3D relief: what is the difference?
Hand-painted murals are brushwork on site by our studio artists. They suit feature walls, ceilings and full rooms where you want something visibly made by hand rather than reproduced.
Printed wall graphics are large-format, laminated panels. They go up fast, reproduce photography and brand artwork exactly, and make sense when the coverage is large or the design repeats.
3D relief walls add sculpted and 3D-printed elements that lift off the surface: depth you can actually touch. This is the option a paint-only studio cannot offer, and it is where being a fabrication workshop first pays off.
What do these look like in practice?
The benchmark for full immersion is our Mandai Zoo pillar transformation: a structural pillar in the Mandai Zoo Kindergarten turned into a towering rainforest tree, with a full ceiling mural overhead and exotic birds that were 3D-printed, reinforced with fibreglass for long-term durability, and hand-painted to a hyper-realistic finish before taking flight across the canopy.
At the heavier end sits the Mandai dinosaur feature wall: a rugged stone wall with an integrated dinosaur head, shaped in lightweight, high-strength materials over an internal frame engineered to carry the extended jaw safely in a high-traffic space.
An office rarely needs a dinosaur, but the same toolkit scales down: a painted feature wall behind reception, printed graphics running along a corridor, or a sculpted brand element that gives a flat lobby wall a third dimension. We work across offices and receptions, kindergartens and schools, retail, F&B and attractions, treating walls, ceilings and pillars as one canvas.
How durable is a mural in a working office?
Durability is decided at the sealing stage. Interior murals get a scrubbable clear coat that survives cleaning (and small hands, on the school jobs). Exterior and semi-outdoor walls get UV-stable, weather-rated finishes made for Singapore’s sun and humidity. Printed graphics are laminated, and 3D elements are fibreglass-reinforced the same way the Mandai birds were. How does a mural project actually run?
Five steps, all handled by one team:
- Site survey and brief. We measure the space, check the surfaces and lighting, and pin down what the wall needs to do.
- Concept art. Two to three visual directions mocked up onto photos of your actual wall. You pick one and we refine it until it is approved.
- Production. Painting, large-format printing or 3D-printed relief elements, usually a mix, produced at our Bendemeer workshop and on site.
- Install and detail. Our artists work on site around your operating hours, so the office keeps running.
- Seal and hand over. Protective clear coats matched to the location, then a final walkthrough with you.
A single painted or printed feature wall runs about 2 to 3 weeks from approved artwork; full themed environments with 3D relief typically take 3 to 5 weeks depending on fabrication.
What does an office mural cost?
We quote every mural per project after a site survey, because the wall decides the job: its area, its surface condition, and whether the work is painted, printed or sculpted. A painted feature wall sits at a very different price point from a themed environment with fibreglass-reinforced 3D elements, so rather than publish a rate per square metre, we ask for a photo.

Do I need finished artwork before asking for a quote?
No. Send a photo of the wall with rough dimensions and we handle the rest. After a site survey we mock up two to three concept directions onto photos of your actual space, and you refine one until it is approved; nothing is produced until you have signed off the artwork.
