Your Guide to Custom Signages in Singapore

Acrylic signage is the workhorse of Singapore shopfronts, office lobbies, reception walls and trade-show booths. It cuts clean, takes colour well and survives an air-conditioned interior for years. We fabricate it in-house, from a single laser-cut logo to a backlit reception piece with 3D-printed dimensional letters on top. This guide covers the sign types we make, the materials and sizes, what file we need from you, how it gets mounted, and what it costs.

Sign types we make

• Laser-cut acrylic letters: flat letters and logos cut on a CO2 laser to plus or minus 0.1mm, then stand-off mounted so they float a few millimetres off the wall. The default for clean, crisp 2D brand marks.
• 3D-printed dimensional letters: when the design has depth, chamfered edges, curves or sculptural form, we print it in PLA, PETG or resin, then sand, prime and paint it. Good for brand mascots, oversized logos and feature signs you cannot cut from a flat sheet.
• Backlit and halo-lit signs: LED edge-lit or halo-lit acrylic that glows for receptions, retail counters and exhibition stands.
• Wayfinding and plaques: building directories, room signs, washroom plates and engraved or UV-printed acrylic award plaques.

Materials and thickness

Clear acrylic runs from 3mm up to 25mm thick. Thin stock (3mm to 5mm) suits small interior signs and layered builds; thicker stock (10mm to 25mm) gives a chunky edge-glow and stands up as freestanding letters. We also stock coloured acrylic (full Pantone range and frosted finishes), mirrored and metallic-finish acrylics. For 3D-printed signage we use PLA, PETG, ABS, resin and SLS nylon, finished with the same spray paint, electroplating and clear-coat we use on trophies. Sizes, file formats and what we need

For laser work, send a vector file (AI, EPS or PDF). For printed signage, send a 3D file (STEP, STL or OBJ). Tell us three things: the substrate (wall, glass or freestanding), the location (indoor or outdoor) and the rough size. That is enough for us to confirm material and finish and return a price the same business day. If you only have a logo image, we can redraw it to vector before cutting.

Mounting and installation

We pre-fit the mounting before delivery so on-site install is quick: stand-off hardware for the floating-letter look, freestanding bases, hanging hardware or a backlight box for lit signs. What it costs

Pricing is per design because it tracks size, thickness and finish, but here are the hooks. Laser cutting starts from S$25 per A4 piece at plus or minus 0.1mm. UV print for full-colour graphics runs S$10 to S$40 per part. 3D-printed letters start from S$0.10 per gram on FDM, with SLA resin from S$0.30 per gram for smoother sculptural pieces. Finishing per hand-sized part: sand and primer S$15 to S$30, spray and topcoat S$30 to S$80, electroplate chrome or copper S$60 to S$100. Lead times

We quote within roughly 24 hours of receiving your file. Standard production runs 5 to 7 working days after the design is confirmed. Add 2 to 3 days for UV-printed graphics or backlit LED work, and budget 2 to 3 weeks for large identical runs.
