A thin yellow line runs round the face of every letter, sharp against the deep black body.

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made a Star Wars logo stand as a fan piece. It needed the logo's yellow outline on black, and letters deep enough to stand on a shelf unaided.
Production
Step 2 of 4
The letters were 3D printed in black, with the yellow outline printed into the face of each one. Up close, the fine print lines run across the black.
How it stands
Step 3 of 4
STAR sits on top of WARS and the two rows hold together as one piece, so the logo stands on its own letters with no separate base.
The final build
Step 4 of 4
The finished stand reads as the Star Wars logo from across a room, its yellow outline crisp against the black.
