What we brought

  1. What we can do

    Colour that layers, not paint

Overlapping tinted acrylic mixes new shades where panels cross, with no paint to chip.

  2. How we look after you

    Drawn to size before cutting

A full drawing set every panel, the standoff fixing and the 44 mm depth off the wall.

  3. What you get

    The words stay sharp

The logo and dedication are laser engraved into the frosted centre panel, so nothing peels.

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made two donor plaques for St Luke's ElderCare. They needed a dedication on a translucent white centre panel, framed by coloured acrylic panels in their brand colours.

Design and prototyping

Step 2 of 5

We drew the plaque at full size: the engraved centre panel over four tinted panels, each set at its own offset, all held on 19 mm standoffs.

Step 3 of 5

Each plaque's panels were cut from acrylic. The St Luke's logo, the dedication and the date were laser engraved into the frosted centre panel, and every piece was cleaned up and finished.

Build and assembly

Step 4 of 5

The four tinted panels stack behind the frosted centre panel. Four standoffs pass through every layer, spacing them apart and fixing the plaque 44 mm off the wall.

The final build

Step 5 of 5

St Luke's ElderCare received both plaques, one dated 23/12/2025 and one 12/01/2026. Where the tinted panels overlap, the colours mix into new shades around the engraved centre.

Blue, green, red and orange around the centre.
