- Material
- White PETG, 25% infill
- Scope
- Split, print and assemble
At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we 3D printed three Singapore landmarks from the client's own files: Marina Bay Sands, a dome building and a Ferris wheel. Each needed splitting into printable parts, printing in white PETG and assembling.
Fabrication
Step 2 of 4
We split each model into parts that fit the print bed and printed them in white PETG. The three Marina Bay Sands towers came off the printers with every row of windows in place, ready for the SkyPark.
Build and assembly
Step 3 of 4
The dome went together from its sections into one shell, joined from inside so the lattice runs on across each seam. The towers took the SkyPark across their tops.
The final build
Step 4 of 4
Marina Bay Sands and the dome, printed and assembled in white, side by side in our studio.
