The brief

Step 1 of 5 · 11/12/2025

Bottles: Three at 19 x 8 cm and three at 15 x 4 cm
Heart box: A soap bar of about 6 x 10 cm and a paper scroll
Colours: Purple satin lining and purple ribbon, matched to LUX's references
Artwork: LUX's artwork on the lid and inside it

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we designed and delivered one PR kit box for LUX's collaboration with Rosalía. It had to hold six LUX bottles and a heart-shaped box for a soap bar and scroll, with nothing moving.

Design and prototyping

Step 2 of 5 · 23/12/2025

We modelled the heart box and the kit's layout in 3D and shared the renders, with the inside of the box marked. The final layout waited for the real soap bar, which reached us on 19/01/2026.

Production

Step 3 of 5 · 28/01/2026

The heart box was 3D printed in resin and sprayed white, in place of the pink mock-up. The white magnetic gift box came from our own stock, printed with LUX's artwork outside and in, over a foam insert we designed and cut for the bottles and heart.

Build and assembly

Step 4 of 5 · 09/02/2026

We laid purple satin into the box and the heart and tied the scroll in purple ribbon. A flip test on video showed that foam on top kept everything still, so we packed it with foam, acid-free paper and wrap.

The final build

Step 5 of 5 · 10/02/2026

The finished kit was collected on 10/02/2026 to be couriered overseas to Rosalía: a white heart holding the LUX soap bar and her letter, among six bottles in purple satin.
