What we brought

  1. What we can do

An engine that reads true at desk size

Casing flanges, fan blades and exhaust cone are modelled in, and the fan turns by hand.

  2. How we look after you

    Colours agreed in renders, fast

Three rounds of renders in four days settled the casing, fan and nose before printing began.

  3. What you get

    Ready for the conference

All three models were finished on 30/10/2026, before Shannon Engine Support's conference on 02/11/2026.

Size
About 20 cm long
Quantity
Three models, each with a gift box
Deadline
Their conference on 02/11/2026

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made three LEAP engine scale models for Shannon Engine Support. They needed matching display models, in their own gift boxes, for a conference on 02/11/2026.

Design and prototyping

Step 2 of 5 · 16/10/2026

We modelled the engine in 3D from public LEAP references and photos of the client's own engine model. The fan turns, clear acrylic supports hold the engine, and a metal plate carries the SES logo.

Production

Step 3 of 5 · 19/10/2026

The engine casing was printed in ABS-like resin by SLA, then primed and painted metallic silver. We printed the fan, the nose and the display base in PLA by FDM, and painted the white spiral on each nose.

Build and assembly

Step 4 of 5

Each fan was fitted so it turns by hand. Two clear acrylic supports hold every engine on its black base, with the SES logo plate on the front.
