What we brought

  1. What we can do

Painted to read across the table

Light skin against dark leather and bright steel, so each figure stands out at arm's length.

  2. How we look after you

    Detail painted, not lost

The hunter's scaled cloak, the beast's spiked mane and every chain link picked out by brush.

  3. What you get

    One warband that matches

All six pieces share one palette and one sandy base finish, ready to play.

The brief

Step 1 of 4

Figures
A hunter with a harpoon, a sabre-toothed beast, three goblins and a trap
Bases
Round and oval, finished to match

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we 3D printed a six-piece fantasy warband and painted it by hand. Each figure had to read clearly on a gaming table, and all six had to belong together.

Priming and painting

Step 2 of 4

Every piece was primed, then painted by hand: purple-grey skin and worn leather on the hunter, steel on the harpoon and chain, pale blue-grey on the beast and goblins.

The hunter, harpoon and chain.

Bases and finishing

Step 3 of 4

The bases were textured and painted sandy brown, with small skulls picked out in bone and every rim painted black, so the set sits as one.

The trap and a goblin, based to match.

The final build

Step 4 of 4

The finished warband: six figures in one palette, from the hunter's scaled cloak to the beast's spiked mane, small enough to sit in a palm.

The sabre-toothed beast.
