What we brought
What we can do
From a sketch to a working part
We drew the keychain in pencil, then modelled the case, discs and pivot in 3D for printing.
How we look after you
Moving parts, printed to fit
The three discs turn on one pivot inside a two-part case, so they fold away and fan out.
What you get
A full batch, put together by hand
All 35 were printed, assembled by hand and fitted with a clip and key ring.

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made 35 coin keychains for a private client. The client needed a keychain with discs that fold into a case and swing out, printed in black and orange.
Design and prototyping
Step 2 of 5
The keychain started as pencil sketches: a case on a key ring, with round discs that pivot from one point. We then modelled the case, discs and pivot in 3D, ready for FDM printing.
Production
Step 3 of 5
Every part was printed on our FDM printers in PLA+: a two-part black case and three orange discs per keychain, each disc with a pivot hole.
Build and assembly
Step 4 of 5
Each keychain was put together by hand: the discs went onto the pivot, the case closed around them, and a metal clip and key ring went through the loop.
The final build
Step 5 of 5
The client got all 35 keychains, ready to use: the orange discs fold away inside the black case and fan out on their pivot.
