What we make

  • 01

    Steel bottles

The guest's photo as line art, wrapped on a stainless bottle

  • 02

    Acrylic keychains

Black acrylic, 55 x 20 mm, a portrait with a name beside it

  • 03

    Luggage tags

Mirror steel on a leather strap, a name or a logo

The door gift booth turns a photo into the gift each guest takes home. Nobody queues for a photographer or fills in a form. Guests scan a code, snap a picture on their own phone and watch it become line art on the exact bottle, keychain or luggage tag they’ll leave with. Then they carry on with the event until their number comes up. That makes it a door gift and a fringe activity in one for an annual dinner, a D&D, a family day or a launch, and it runs itself while the event carries on around it.

How it works for your guests

Illustration of four phone screens from the booth's guest page: the event page with Take a photo, a photo being drawn, the drawing on a 3D bottle with its size and a line of text, and a ticket reading Ready to collect
Illustration: scan, snap, see it on the item, collect, all on the guest's own phone.
  1. Scan. The booth screen shows a big QR code. Any phone camera opens the guest page, with your logo on it.
  2. Snap. They take a photo or pick one from their camera roll: a selfie, their team, their dog, or your company logo.
  3. See it. In about 20 seconds they see it as line art on the item, with the size in millimetres. They can add a name or a short line of text and choose its font.
  4. Collect. They send it to the booth, get a ticket number and a WhatsApp when it’s ready. Their number shows up on the booth screen too.

What guests take home

You choose the item for your event. Each one is previewed on the guest’s phone before it’s sent, so nobody is surprised at the counter.

  • Stainless steel bottles. Engraved on a rotary so the drawing wraps cleanly around the curve. Guests turn the bottle in 3D on their phone before they send it.
  • Black acrylic keychains. A 55 x 20 mm tag, engraved on one side. The laser frosts the acrylic white, and a name or a short message sits beside the portrait. They’re light, cheap enough to give every guest one, and kids love them. Want them as an order rather than at an event? See custom keychains.
  • Steel luggage tags. A 40 x 100 mm mirror steel plate on a black leather strap, the same one in our engraving shop. It hangs strap up, so the portrait goes on top with the name under it, and the laser frosts the mirror to a pale matte mark. Good for travel-themed events, conferences and anyone who’d rather not carry a bottle home.

Offer more than one and guests choose: the booth’s page shows the items as buttons before the photo, and each guest’s preview, ticket and our queue all follow their pick.

Why it works as a door gift

Most door gifts are chosen months ahead, boxed, and handed out on the way out, and plenty are left on the tables. A booth gift goes home because each guest made their own.

  • Something people keep. It carries their own face, their team or their dog, not only the company logo. An engraved bottle, keychain or luggage tag outlasts a photo print, and it gets used every day.
  • Budgeted like a door gift. You cover an item for each guest, the same way you’d set a per-head door gift budget.
  • No app and no data entry. It runs in the phone’s browser. Guests add a name for pickup and, if they like, a WhatsApp number.
  • A steady queue. Every drawing is checked by our team before it’s engraved, the booth screen shows whose pieces are ready, and nobody has to stand in line while they wait.
  • Your brand in the moment. Your logo sits on the guest page and the booth screen, and your company logo can be engraved too.

What we engrave at events

Illustration of a couple's portrait and a dog's face as line art on black bottles, and a floral pattern on the 3D preview with its size in millimetres
Illustration: portraits, pets and patterns, each one previewed with its size before it's sent.

Portraits, couples, whole teams and pets are drawn as clean line art. Flat artwork such as a logo is traced exactly as it is. For other drinkware or flat items such as notebooks, ask us and we’ll suggest what works for your guest count. For one of your own outside an event, order it in our engraving shop; for larger engraving jobs, see our laser engraving service.

Planning the rest of the programme? Our guide to fringe activities in Singapore covers what works for a D&D, a family day and a launch, and how to plan the space and the queue. For door gifts ordered ahead rather than made on the night, see our door gift ideas.

What's included
  • Guests use their own phone to scan a QR code. There's no app and no sign-up
  • Their photo becomes clean line art in about 20 seconds
  • They see it on the real item before they send it, with its size in millimetres
  • Portraits, groups, pets, logos and patterns
  • A name or a short line of text in one of four fonts
  • Stainless steel bottles, black acrylic keychains or steel luggage tags
  • Offer more than one item and each guest picks theirs before the photo
  • Engraved on site while they wait, with a WhatsApp when it's ready
  • Your logo on the guest page and the booth screen
  • You cover the items for your guests, or guests pay per piece
How we make it
  1. Plan

Tell us the date, the venue and roughly how many guests. We suggest the item (bottles, keychains or luggage tags) and the quantity, and you send your logo for the guest page and the booth screen.

  2. Set up

We arrive with the laser, the items and a screen showing your event's QR code. All we need is a table and a power point. Guests use their own mobile data, so venue wifi is optional.

  3. On the day

Guests scan, snap and send. Each drawing is checked by our team before it's engraved, and guests get a ticket number and a WhatsApp when their piece is ready to collect.

  4. After

You get the numbers for the day, how many pieces were made and how many guests took part, so you know what the booth did for your event.

Frequently asked

How does the door gift booth work?

Guests scan the QR code on the booth screen with their phone camera and take or choose a photo. In about 20 seconds they see it as clean line art on the item they'll take home. If they like it, they add their name and send it to the booth. We check every drawing, engrave it with our laser and hand it over with their ticket number, usually within minutes.

What can guests take home?

A stainless steel bottle, a black acrylic keychain (55 x 20 mm, engraved on one side) or a mirror steel luggage tag on a leather strap. Offer one item, or two or three and let each guest pick theirs on their phone before they take the photo. On a keychain the name sits beside the portrait, since the tag is too short to put it underneath; on a luggage tag it sits under the portrait.

Can the booth be our door gift?

Yes. Instead of a boxed gift handed out at the door, each guest makes theirs at the booth from their own photo and takes it home that night. You cover an item for each guest, so it's budgeted like any per-head door gift, and your logo can go on the item as well as their portrait.

How much does the door gift booth cost?

Packages start from S$980 before GST. The final price depends on the item, how many guests you want to cover and how long the booth runs. You can cover the items for your guests, which is how companies use it as the door gift, or run it as a pay-per-piece booth. Tell us your date and guest count and we'll send a quote.

How is it different from a photo booth?

It starts the same way, with guests stepping up and taking a photo. The difference is what they leave with. A photo booth hands over a paper print; our booth turns the photo into line art and engraves it on a bottle, keychain or luggage tag, so it gets used every day instead of going into a drawer.

Is it a good fringe activity for a D&D or a family day?

Yes. Guests take part in a couple of minutes on their own phone, then go back to the event until their number comes up, so the booth never holds a crowd in a line. Adults like the bottles and luggage tags, families like a keychain with their kids or their dog on it, and everyone leaves with something they'll use.

What can guests engrave?

Portraits, groups, couples, pets, company logos, patterns and flowers. Photos are drawn as line art. Flat artwork such as a logo is traced exactly as it is, so it comes out true to the original. Guests can add a name or a short line of text too.

What do you need from the venue?

A table about 1.8 m long, one power point and a spot where the booth screen can be seen. The guest page runs on each guest's own mobile data, so the booth doesn't depend on the venue's wifi.

Can the booth carry our brand?

Yes. Your logo appears on the page guests open when they scan and on the booth screen at the table. The event name appears on each guest's ticket, and your logo can be engraved on the items too.

What kind of events is it for?

Company annual dinners and dinner and dances, family days, staff appreciation events, product launches, conferences, weddings and private parties. Anywhere guests would like to take home something made from a moment at the event.
