Underwater ROV Scale Model

A scale model of Hydrov’s underwater ROV, the robot that crawls along boat hulls and scrubs them clean while they sit in the water. The model captures the machine’s working face: three rotating brush discs, the guide wheels that track along the hull, the thruster pods on their brackets and the blue HYDROV pressure housings tucked into the frame.
Why a model
A hull-cleaning robot lives underwater and weighs far too much to carry into a meeting. A scale model does the selling instead: it sits on a boardroom table or an exhibition stand, shows exactly how the brushes, wheels and thrusters relate, and survives being picked up and turned over by curious hands.
How we made it
The body is resin printed for crisp panel lines and clean cylindrical housings, then post-processed and airbrushed in the two-tone grey and blue of the real machine, with the branding across the pressure cylinders. The brush discs are real bristle brushes, which makes the machine’s purpose readable at a glance. Wheels, brackets and fittings were printed as separate parts and assembled, so the finished model has the layered, engineered look of the actual ROV.
