What we can do
From a flat image to a solid star
We turned SRA's 2D artwork into two interlocking triangles that stand on their own points, with no base.
How we look after you
The same star, whenever you need it again
Once the design was agreed, SRA came back for the same star for its 2023 gala.

At Additive Inn, our 3D printing studio in Singapore, we made gold star trophies for the Singapore Retailers Association's Retail Awards gala. SRA sent a 2D image of its star and needed solid, weighty awards for its winners on stage.
Production
Step 2 of 4 · 05/11/2022
We modelled the star in 3D from SRA's image and made a sample to settle the shape, then printed the whole set in white plastic, ready for finishing.
Build and assembly
Step 3 of 4 · 11/11/2022
Each printed star was filled with resin for weight, then primed, painted gold and given a tag, ready to hand over.

Winners of SRA's 2022 Retail Awards received the gold stars on stage at the gala dinner. The association ordered the same star again for its 2023 gala.
