Minature Recycling Machine
For this project, we were tasked to create a miniature display model of an automated recycling machine. The client needed a clean, sharp representation of the machine’s exterior layout, including chute modules, panel geometry, and the overall structural profile. The model had to remain faithful to the real equipment while being durable enough for handling and repeated demonstrations.
High Fidelity Modeling With Clean Surface Fabrication
We rebuilt the full exterior shell through precise 3D modeling, capturing each panel break, vent line, and feature contour. The chute modules were produced as separate parts to achieve sharper edges and a more realistic drop-in look. Each printed section was aligned and bonded carefully to maintain straight lines across the entire structure.
After printing, the model went through a full finishing workflow. Surface gaps were filled, sanded, and primed repeatedly to eliminate print lines. The final texture was matched to a matte industrial finish that reflects the real machine’s clean design language.
Logos and colored accents were added only after the surface reached an even finish. We applied the branding in controlled layers to keep the edges crisp and the proportions true to the client’s reference.
Internal reinforcements were added to support the large flat panels and prevent bending or distortion during transport or long term display.
The Result: A Compact and Accurate Display Model
The completed miniature delivers a clear and accurate representation of the recycling machine’s structure. The clean surfaces, detailed modules, and accurate branding make it suitable for exhibitions, client presentations, and public education showcases.
