Frigate Victory Battleship
For this historical-themed project, the client required a detailed scale model of a frigate-class battleship. The model needed accurate shaping, functional sub-assemblies, and clean surface finishing suitable for display, painting, and further customization. The focus was on capturing the ship’s hull geometry, weapon placements, and structural features with high precision.
High Detail Modeling With Layered Fabrication
We produced the ship’s hull using high resolution 3D printing to achieve clean curvature and correct proportions. Key weapon systems, such as deck cannons and missile racks, were fabricated as separate components for sharper detail and easy assembly.
The initial print went through a full surface preparation process, including putty work, sanding, and priming, to remove layer lines and ensure a smooth finish ready for paint.
Additional structural parts were printed in batches for accuracy and consistency. Mounting points were reinforced to support the final attachments without warping or stress marks during assembly.
The Result: A Strong Foundation for a Showcase Battleship Model
The completed hull and weapon modules form a precise and stable base for detailed finishing. The clean geometry and reinforced structure allow for further painting, weathering, and display mounting. This project demonstrates our ability to produce high fidelity military models with strong structural integrity and accurate visual reference.
